Tottenham Hotspur boss too busy next month

The Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino is believed to be going to have a busy next month as he has planned to do a lot of business during the mid-season transfer window.

The sources close to Tottenham say that Pochettino would be putting all the under-performers at the club on sale and would be getting a few new guys in.

There are three exciting players who are in Pochettino’s sight at the moment and he wants to land them all at White Hart Lane this January.

The first one is Jack Colback. The 25-year old Englishman joined Newcastle United before the start of the 2014-15 Season and so far he has put on some great midfield shows there.

He had been proving to be pretty useful for Sunderland too for the last couple of seasons.

Colback is one of the most trusted players going around in England as far as the holding midfield role is concerned.

The second guy whom Pochettino is said to be quite impressed with is Luiz Adriano. He is a Brazilian who plays for the Ukrainian club Shakhtar Donetsk. He has scored 71 goals in about 150 games there.

This season, in the European Cup, Adriano has been the most dominant striker, shaking the net as many as 9 times and getting equalled to the record of one of the all-time best, Cristiano Ronaldo.

The 27-year old striker is definitely a player who is growing rapidly and Pochettino reckons investing in him is a great idea.

Jose Fonte is the third player in the list of Pochettino. The Argentinean manager has worked with the centre-half at Southampton earlier and he likes his game a lot.

Fonte would not cost that much to the Spurs. The Saints would probably let him go at an amount close to 5 million Pounds.
