Emmanuel Praises Danish Midfielder, Christian

Tottenham managed a stunning comeback in the latest Premier league match against West Brom to keep their hopes of finishing in the Europa league places alive. Tottenham visited the hawthorns during the weekend knowing that they needed to get three points in order to finish in the top six of the table. The resurgence from Manchester United was threatening to put Tottenham down in the seventh position, which would have been a disappointing place for the club after having spent more than £ 100 million on new players in the summer.

The match certainly did not go according to the plan for Tottenham, as they found themselves 3-0 down before the first half break. However, they managed one of the remarkable comebacks in the Premier league this season, as they managed to snatch a point from this position. The final result ended in a 3-3 draw, which meant that the points were shared between the two teams. Christian Eriksen was a major reason behind this level, as he showed incredible competition in the second half to create chances to chance.

Striker Emmanuel Adebayor, who missed a penalty in the match, says that the Danish midfielder has shown why he has been highly regarded by several clubs prior to his transfer.

“It was an amazing finish from Christian. We know how good he is and hopefully he will be the man to finish the season well for us because when he plays well, we play well. We’re happy and we have to keep going until the end of the season,” said Adebayor, who has once again become the main man at the club after the appointment of Tim Sherwood. Adebayor was forced out of the first-team reckoning by former manager Andre Villas-Boas after falling out during the pre-season. Adebayor has 10 league goals this campaign.
