Emmanuel Adebayor is eager for the next Premier League season to start and even more considering that it will be the debut of Mauricio Pochettino in charge of Tottenham.
Adebayor said: “My summer was great. The most important thing is to come back and train, to work hard. Nothing is personal. I play for Tottenham and we are a team. So for me, our targets or objective is to finish in the top four and I want to help the team finish in the top four. This season we’ve had to dig deep. It’s been a strange season, where we’ve started games poorly and gone 1-0 down in a few seconds against teams like Manchester City, Liverpool and West Brom. A lot of the lads will have a season under their belts and now have more experience. We are improving as a team and starting to control games. Next season can only be better.”
According to the former Arsenal man Tottenham Hotspur wants to forget about their previous season campaign which saw them being unable of securing a top 5 spot in the Premier League and all of the players want to standout under the guidance of Mauricio Pochettino who was signed by the club after Pochettino enjoyed a very impressive season in charge of Southampton.
Andros Townsend is a player of Tottenham who has been out on loan to 9 different clubs but the previous season saw him making 25 league appearances and he is another player who recently spoke about the condition of some of his teammates as he later went on stating that it will be a big season not only for him but for Tottenham.
